Are there any setup fees?

How much does it cost to cancel?

Zero dollars.
Can you explain the transaction fees?

A transaction fee is collected for each purchase, or recurring membership payment through Stripe. Mavenseed's fee is 8% for free accounts, and 4.5% for Plus accounts. Keep in mind the fee's negotiated with your merchant (Stripe) account are separate from ours. There are no transaction when using our PayPal plugin.
Do I get support?

Yes! You'll get an email [email protected]) response typically in hours, not days, with of course keeping in mind weekends and holidays we're a tickle slower. 😎

There isn't a phone number to call, though please don't think we're disinterested in speaking with you. We've found with technical or account questions we're able to troubleshoot much quicker through email.
Is it really free? What's the catch?

Yes, it's really free. Digital downloads are limited to 100mb, and we limit the number of videos to 200. Bandwidth is expensive!
How do I get rid of the video and download limits?

We have a paid plan for $39/mo that will increase the download limit to 5GB, and the video limit to 300. It also reduces the transaction feels from 8% to 4.5%.

How can I lower the transaction fee?

While we offer a free plan at *8% to help you and us get started, there will come a time where it makes financial sense to be on a lower transaction fee plan with a monthly subscription.

Why did you create Mavenseed?

Learning how do to anything online wasn't always easy. We've been running http://cgcookie.com -- an online training platform, for more than a decade.

During that time we've built upon many custom platforms as a means to fulfill the needs of our small team, and the commuinty that we've built. Mavenseed is the most recent iteration of what our vision of a content mamangement platform built for creators should look like. So instead of just building it for us, we thought to ourselves, what if we just built it for everybody?
